Not at all. Many clients come with nothing more than a rough idea. I guide you through the whole process — from defining what the site needs to choosing colors, fonts, and layout. References help but they're never required.
Minor adjustments post-launch are often handled quickly at no extra cost. For larger changes or new features, we discuss a small additional scope. I won't disappear after delivery.
Once we agree on scope and price, you pay 50% to begin. This covers the initial design and development phase. The remaining 50% is due only when the site has been reviewed, revised, and approved — before I hand over access.
For Professional and Premium packages, yes — CMS integration is included so you can update text, images, and blog posts without touching code. This can also be added to Starter packages on request.
Starter sites: 1–2 weeks. Professional builds: 2–4 weeks. Premium projects: 4–8 weeks depending on scope. Timeline begins once the initial payment is made and the brief is confirmed.
There are two paths. Without a Care Plan, your site is deployed to an established provider and the account is in your name — you own it outright, I handle all the technical setup. With a Care Plan, your site is hosted directly on Vantaform's platform — one bill, one point of contact, and you never have to think about the technical side again.
The Care Plan is $175/month and includes hosting your site directly on Vantaform's platform, uptime monitoring, software updates, weekly backups, minor content edits (up to 1 hour per month), and a monthly performance check-in. One bill, everything handled — you never touch the backend again. Cancel anytime, no contracts.
